Being and Becoming a Work of Art (LGBTQIA+ Lunch & Learn)
Whether you're trans*, nonbinary, questioning, an ally, or simply someone who wants to understand this moment better — you are welcome here. Come ready to listen, share, and be seen. We'll explore questions like: How do you protect your sense of self when the world feels like it's working against you? What does it look like to turn self-care into resistance? How do identity, career, and community come together — or pull apart — when you're gender expansive? And what do we owe each other as we figure all of this out? The forum features selections from Transcending Love, photographer B. Proud's stunning portrait series celebrating transgender and gender expansive couples, as a visual reminder that beauty, joy, and connection are acts of defiance. You are not a problem to be solved. You are not a debate. You are a work of art — and no political climate, no policy, no hostile rhetoric gets to take that from you.
